Team Page

Your Game Demo should explain your game idea and show how the final game will look and be played. It should contain two parts:

1. Game Pitch (Answer questions and make notes below, then add to your Flash file)
  • Intro screen: All We know is mining Coal: West Virginia
  • Team Introduction: Alyssa: Game Demo/Title Scene Kaitlyn: Some Drawing Emily: Game Demo
  • Audience: We are designing our game for other eighth grader, because we had to make our game based on our grade.
  • Gameplay: The player mines coal and answers questions and find facts. You have to mine coal and answer questions correctly. The goal is to get through all of the levels.
  • Learning Goal: They will learn more about Coal in West Virginia
  • Fun Factor: Our game is fun to play, because you get to mine coal.
  • Smart Factor: You can learn about Coal in WV, by playing our game!
  • Style Factor: You will get to mine through the coal.
  • Originality Factor: Our game will be special, because you barley ever see coal mining games.
This is all the questions my partners and I have anwered about my game. I thinks our game demo was a success and went really good. I did notice some spelling errors but we will be fixing them soon. Well thats all for this week I hope everyone have a very Merry Christmas! :D

What you should do and not to do during a presentation

There are many things you should do during a presentation such as holding the paper down and not infront of your face, be serous and speek plainly. There are also many things you shouldn't do as well like goof off, mumble, or laugh. I think all theses things can inprove your presentation and make people be more interested in your game. Also a good note is to have feeling in your presentation and not just read from your paper if you do you still need to have emotions and excitement into it. Everyone have a great Friday!(:
