Internet Saftey

Internet saftey for youth today could save someone people lives, if you put to much information on the internet it could be a bad thing. You should never put your last name or where you live or where you go to school at or your phone number on the internet because someone may be able to track it, and it may get you in trouble. For people to know all your information it could lead you to getting kidnapped. There are many bad people out in the world and if you give out to much of your information you could be leading someone to your back door. This also goes for who you communicate will over yahoo messanger, Facebook, or Myspace if you don't know them you shouldn't add them. Be safe and be careful on the internet!

What kind of Game ours is

The kind of game me and my partner are designing is drag and drop, and arrow keys. We are using drag and drop in our game by the food falling. Were using the arrow keys by making the waitress move to the food with the correct answer on it. The way the game is going to be set up is the waitress "Sally" will be able to move with the help of you using the arrow keys. Then there will be food falling and you will have to move the waitress to the food in time to give it to the costumer in time. Well thats all for this week thanks for reading!

Math Games

This weeks blog is about how we can make math more fun. In my opinion I dislike math because theres no fun in it, but a math game can be more interesting because it's funner then just sitting around listening to a teacher talk, when you can be learning that same thing in a game. I enjoy playing games I mean who doesn't? Even educational games can be kinda fun, as long as I'm staying innertanded and learning I think its a great game, but if it's boring and you ain't learing nothing in it then there ain't no point in playing it. The only website I've played math games on coolmath. All of them wasn't educational but some of them was. Well thats all for ths week, thanks for reading!

My Experiences on Flash

I have had many experiences in flash such as adding buttons, and adding effects. I enjoy doing both of them thing on flash but they are also challenging to do. After you do something over and over again it becomes easy to do. There are many special effects in my game. We are plaining to make food fall from the sky then the waitress will go the the correct answer. That all for this week thanks!

Educational Games

       There are many educational games, but the one educational game I've enjoyed the most would be Brain Age. This game helps you learn new things each day, you also have tests to test your knowledge. If you complete your level it will put a stamp on the date you learned it. My me and my partners game is going to be educational, we are trying to teach students how to do input output tables. At first our game was a quiz game, but now it is not, we are going to make food fall from the sky with numbers on it, and you will slide the waitress over to get the food for the people. What I like and dislike about my game

There are many things I like about my game, but the main three would probably be my art work, the game theme, and all of the animation we are plaining to have in our game. The one thing I dislike about our game is that it still has concelts of a quiz game. I like the art work of our game because it looks very realistic we have hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, and pop drawings on our game. I like our game theme because it is a restraunt and you have to get the food to the people in time. Also we I am excited about going to have animation in our game, we are thinking about making the food call from the sky, and move from side to side. The one thing I dislike about our game is that it still has concelts of a quiz game, we are thinking about making the waitress Sally having to go back and forth to get the food that is falling from the sky. What We Accomplished in Flash

The first things we accomplished in flash was adding a button, adding sound and other things of that sort. When we first started working on our game we added scenes buttons and drawed out how we wanted our game to look. We didn't really understand how to use flash at first, but then when our teacher Mr.Lester taught us how it got easer and easer along the way. I actuallky enjoy working with flash now, I really don't think of it as work I think of it as fun. What is hard for me to do on flash would probably be adding a button, I never can get it the way I want it, but I am getting better each time. There are many things to do on flash, my favorite thing to do would probably be adding animation because you can make a shape move or a word move its really about anything you want you can get it to move.
