Well it looks like Globaloria is just about over for the 8^th grade. Its some ways I will be happy it’s over but in others I will be sad. This wear in globaloria hasn’t been the easiest thing ever but I’ve actually enjoyed it. One of the most things I disliked the most was coding! It’s so confusing if you have just one little error it messes up the whole thing. But other things I liked doing was making animation doing art work and blogging of course! This is my 2^nd year in globaloria and could be my last if they don’t put globaloria in high school but if they don’t I’ll be fine. One thing I enjoyed most was working together with my friends sure we don’t always see eye to eye on our game but we always figured out how to put each other’s ideas in the game. I’m also going to miss my globaloria teachers they always try their best to help us or suggest ideas about our game. I hope each and everyone one of the 7^th graders enjoy their 8^th grade globaloia while they can. Well this is my last blog, thanks for reading! (:

If we had more time

It's almost time for us to present our game. We have worked all year on our game but there's still more stuff we could add. We could add more buttons, animation, and be more creative. There's just so much that we could add but we just don't have the time anymore. WESTEST!

Next week is WESTEST! I'm kinda glad it is finally here, but I'm kinda nervous about it. Our teachers have been working really hard to get us prepared for WESTEST. I hope I do really good but I really can't tell you if I'll do good or not. I have been working really hard to try to understand everything I need to know for each subject on the WESTEST. I'm going to be really glad when we get done with all the WESTEST pratice and testing. Last year everyones scores were really high and I hope it's the same way this year. All you need to do is try your very best and just take your time. Many people get really nevous but I think you just need to not worry to much about it as long has you do the best you can. Why Our Game isn't a quiz game

Our game isn't a quiz game because we really don't have any questions just fun and excitement. We made sure our game wasn't a quiz game because our teacher told us not to so we have platform. What is Needed in Our Game

We have worked very hard for the last few months on our game. And I am very proud to say my partners and I have completed all of our game. It is a great game, it is about coal mining and what you should exspect while in a coal mines. I can't wait to present our game it's gonna be great! My Day!

Today is gonna be great! My BestFriend Faith is coming up my house then we are going to the youth rally! I really enjoy going to youth rallys because I get to see all my friends from different churches. We also get to sing and do signs together, its so much fun! We all come together and serve the Lord and thats what I love most about youth rallys! Todays going to be so much fun,I'm so excited! Faith and I are going to go home and Mawmaw has made us chicken -n- dumplings so when we get done eating me and her are going to hang at the house till its time to go to the youth rally. If today was the final game presentation

If today was the final game presentation...I would actually be looking forward to it. We don't have exactly everything done but we have enough done to present it. I'm really excited because me and my partner has been working really hard on it. We are mostly now just added animation and buttons to make our game look more interesting. We arevery hard working and we know exactly how we want our game. Our teacher Mr.Sparks has been giving us a lot of ideas and we have been adding them to our game and it has inproved our game a lot. Spring Break!! :D

Well it’s almost Spring Break!!! I’m so excited I expect to go outside and enjoy some sunshine! I plan to go fishin’, riden’, and just spend some time with the family! We’re going to have a lot of fun, we may go to Indian Meadows and spend some time out there.  My church is always having revival at my church so I’m probably going to go to that a lot.

I can’t wait to get the fourwheeler out and ride and enjoy myself. I also can’t wait to go fishing and try to catch something. I hope to maybe spend some time with my mawmaw and pawpaw.  I really hope spring break ends up being great!

The one thing I will miss is probably seeing my friends but that’s okay because I can talk to them on the phone or over the internet. I hope all my friends have a great spring break too! Spring break hopefully will be a lot of fun, I can’t wait!! :D

Our Game Presentation

I think our game presentation will end up going very well, we have been working so hard with our game and we hope that everyonr likes our game. We still have some work to do but i think we will be very successful. We have been trying to add another level but we are still have so problems. As long as we can get all the animation to work and keep working hard, I believe we will be able to finish it in time. Todays Friday! so that means it's blog day. Me and my partners have worked very hard with out game. Well all have did differnt parts in our game. Like anmation, buttons, and designing. I'm glad I have theses people to be my partners there just a big help. If I have problems with something in our game they always jump in and help. We are all hard working and all have the same equal amount of parts in it. It's not just one of usdoing it was all jump in and do what we can to help. Flash is what we work in and its sill kinda easy but some parts are hard. I don't know a lot about flash but I do know what to do the pasic things. me & my partners progress

Me and my partners have been working very hard on our game. We have been very seccessful in our game but some parts we have had some problems with. The part of our game that has been successful would be platform games, we made sure our game had the right coding and we had some errors in it at first but we corrected them. The part of our game that we had problems with was hit test, the coding was kinda hard to figure out but we are still in the process of completing this part. I enjoy working with my partners Alyssa & Emily, we have worked very hard on this game. We all work hard together by making sure we agree on each of our game plans. My Biggest Struggle

My biggest struggle in our game was making platform game.  It was confusing because you had to add a lot of different coding and if you got anything wrong in the coding it wouldn’t work so that’s what I found to be the hardest. Me & my partner Alyssa’s biggest success was really our game. We have worked so hard with the animation, and buttons, and plat form game. I love our great art work we have put into it. Our game really looks like the inside of a coalmines and it looks great! I believe our game will be a big success even if we don’t win I think this has helped us learn a lot of new things, such as like platform games. I have really enjoyed helping my partner do this game. Working in Flash

 Working in flash hasn't always been that easy, but I still enjoy doinging it. We work in flash a lot, there are many things you can do in flash like, make platform games, mini games. We use a lot of coding and animation in our games. Sometimes it's hard to understand how to do all the coding but if we have a problem we usually have someone to help us so we can learn more about the coding. I'm not the best with flash but I do know how to make animation and buttons hopefully I will know more by the end of this year. Well thats all for this week thanks for reading!(:

Play other Peoples games

Today in class we played other peoples platforms games. All of them was really good and I was amazed of all the detail they had put into it. Platforms hasn't always been the easiest thing to do ever in globaloria but i had a lot of help with mine from my friends now my workes really good and I kinda like playing it. Our Game

Our game my partners and I have been working on is pretty much finished. We have buttons, animation and so much more. I don't think our game was all that hard to make at all, I enjoyed making it. We may add more things to our game but I'm not sure. I would kinda like to add a platform game into it but its confusing to do so I'm not sure if we will work not. Our game is about coal and we are telling facts about coal in WV. I think our game will turn out really good we will probably add more questions to the game as well. If not I think it will be okay, we have some questions already done so we may add a few more. Thats all for this week thanks for reading!(: 

All week we have been working on platform games. I was learnt a lot from doing this. I can now make things move, jump up, and I am getting better with coding. At first I didn't know at all how to work on platform games, now I am getting better and I can help other people now.

     This took a lot of hard work but I am still working hard on it. I have had some problems with it like incorrect coding but I went through and got everything correct. All of the animation don't work just yet but most does. I should have everything complete by the end of the week. 

     Everyone has been helping each other and I think that it's great. By watching that video that man explained it really good and I undetstand it better now. I think every globaloria class should learn how to make platform games. Thats all for this week thanks for reading!(:

Three Things I Have Learnt

I was learned to do many thing this past year even though it was hard it was still really fun. I learnt how to add animation to our game. I learnt how to add bottons onto our game. Also I have learnt how to improve our game.

The one thing I am very glad I learnt was adding animation to our game. It makes our game looks so much cooler and it't to use. I have no idea haw to add animation till one of my friends in globaloria taught me how. Now I really enjoy adding animation.

I also know how to add buttons. I'm not the best at adding buttons but I do try. It's kinda hard because of all the coding but after you do it so many times you start getting better and faster at it. If I keep on practicing I will start getting better at it.

Improving my game is pretty simple cause you will always find errors in your game that should be fixed. I always try to look over my game and make sure all the buttons and animations work right. If they don't work right I try to fix it. It's usually if I have my coding wrong. Coding can be really hard to do but I always try my best to have it right.

 As you can see I have learnt many new things during my last year of globaloria and I hope to continue to do good and keep on improving. I have learnt to add animation, add buttons, and how to improve my game better.

What's Next

Me and my team mates have been working really hard on our game and our team page. The next thing we are gonna be doing is adding more scenes and questions in our game. We worked on a lot of things like our game demo and we persenterd it to people from New York they gave our game a few comments and told us what we could inprove and we will probably us it to make it better. I think our game is gonna be really good as long as we keep up the good work. We are just about finished with our game we just need to clean up some stuff in it and then our coal mining game will be complete! I enjoy making this game because a lot of my family have or is working in the coal mines and it's good to teach people from other place what a big part of West Virginia really is. I exspect 8th grade students to get something out of my partner and I's game. Well thats all for this week have a great weekend!(:
